Summary
mediamobilizing.org - The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) announced a surprise meeting with updates on the Foxwoods and Sugar House Casino plans for Philadelphia. A delegation from Philadelphia traveled out to Harrisburg to represent the people across the city that will be impacted by these casinos in the city.

The No Casino in the Heart of Our City Coalition pushed for public testimony at these meetings, but was told no testimony would be held. The PGCB did decide to open up comments after such a large presence was shown from the Philadelphia delegation. Yet, with the very residents impacted by the casinos in the room, the investors and lobbyist from Fox Woods left the audience through the back door before hearing what the community had to say.
