On December 9, Media Mobilizing Project's 6th annual Community Building Dinner welcomed more than 200 members of our network to Local 22's union hall for an evening of reflection, celebration, food, music and media. Included in the festivities was a 2011 Video Montage. A Community Building Dinner tradition, this year's montage highlighted organizations-- among them Philadelphia Student Union, Unified Taxi Workers Alliance, Juntos, SEIU 32BJ, Local 22, One Love Movement, Poverty Initiative, Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals, United Workers, UNITE Here, Dream Activists Pennsylvania, Border Network for Human Rights, PA from Below, and Media Mobilizing Project-- that are bridging divisions and bringing scattered struggles and organizations together into a larger struggle for human rights.
